1.1 What is the difference between SPF and UPF? 

SPF (Sun Protection Factor) is a measure of sunscreen’s ability to prevent UVB sun rays from damaging the skin. Therefore, UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) is the equivalent of SPF for fabric and is recommended by The Skin Cancer Foundation.

1.2 What is a UPF rating? 

UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) is the numerical rating given to clothing to show how the fabric blocks ultraviolet radiation (UV).

1.3 How is UPF achieved in Sun Pop Life garments? 

Our fabric is Lab tested UPF 50+ the highest rating possible. The UPF in Sun Pop Life garments is achieved at a manufacturing level with the weight of the fabric and the way the fabric is tightly woven. Therefore, the sun protection level is locked in the DNA of the fabric. Blocking 99.8% of UVA and UVB sun rays that won’t wash off and it will last the lifetime of the garment.

1.4 What are the main features of Sun Pop Life fabric? 

Our fabric is of the highest quality in the market with excellent UPF 50+ sun protection that blocks 99.8% of UV sun rays. Breathable fabric that will cool off the skin when wet from water or sweat and will add warmth when the body is cold. Quick-dry properties to keep kids cozy in and out of the water. Four-way stretchy fabric with an excellent recovery that holds its shape when wet. Chlorine and pilling resistant. Additionally, this mess-free, hypo-allergic, chemical-free fabric will help prevent any skin irritation and protect kids from hot and rough surfaces.

1.5 Where is Sun Pop Life fabric developed and manufactured? 

Our fabric is developed and manufactured in the USA.

1.6 Will my child be hot wearing Sun Pop Life garments? 

No. Sun Pop Life garments are made of a super high-quality fabric that has breathable, cooling, quick dry, and heat reflecting properties.

1.7 Regarding Sun Pop Life exclusive photo patterns printed individually on each piece of each garment. Can two garments be exactly the same?

No. Each piece is individually printed. There may be a minor differences depending on when the fabric was printed.

1.8 What are elongated sleeves and pants? 

Our garments are cut longer in the length of the sleeves and pants to accommodate growing children and therefore extending the garment life.

1.9 How long will my Sun Pop Life garment last? 

Sun Pop Life sun protection level is locked in the DNA of the fabric. Blocking 99.8% of UVA and UVB sun rays that won’t wash off and it will last the lifetime of the garment.

1.10 Let’s talk about size and fit, Why are Sun Pop Life garments sized in range?

Because children develop differently, our size ranges are based on recommended average measurements of children. We do not size based on gender. Our garments run a little bit bigger in the sleeves and length of the pants.

1.11 When should I wear sun protective clothing?

It’s advised to wear sun protective clothing when you are exposed to the sun for extended amounts of time. Sun Pop Life offers multifunctional performance for any outdoor living. From building castles on the sand and swimming to playing in the park, soccer,  baseball, school field trips, running, biking, camping, hiking, snow skiing, boating, paddle boarding, surfing, boogie board, golf, tennis and all other fun outdoor activities done under the sun on water or land.

1.12 Do I still have to wear sun protective lotions if I am wearing sun protective clothing?

Yes. It’s advised to wear sunscreen or sunblock in the areas of your body that are not covered by sun protective clothing like, your face, head, neck, ears, hands, etc.

1.13 Why sunscreen alone is it enough?

Sunscreen washes off over time and therefore protects you less and less as time goes by. By wearing sun protective clothing, you will only have to wear sun protective lotions in the areas not covered such as the scalp head, face, neck, ears, hands, etc. Because sunblock alone is not enough, UPF rated sun protective clothing is recommended by The American Cancer Society, The American Academy of Dermatology and The Skin Cancer Foundation as effective UV protectant.

1.14 How do I care for my Sun Pop Life garments?

Always refer to and follow the care labels before laundering as each garment has specific instructions. Sun Pop Life garments are a dream to care for with machine washable and tumble dry guidelines.

1.15 I see you are also going to do a men’s and women’s sun protective clothing line, when will the collection be ready for purchase? 


2.1 Do I need to open an account to shop with you?

No, you don’t need to. You can make purchases and check out as a guest every time. However, by setting up an account with us, it will allow you to order without having to enter your details every time you shop with us. You can sign up right now, or you can first start shopping and create your account before you check out at the shopping cart page.

2.2 How do I create an account?

Please click on “Login/Register” followed by ‘Create An Account’ and fill in your personal information.

2.3 How do I order?

Shop for the items you want and add it to your shopping cart. When you have finished, you can proceed to your shopping cart and check out. Check and ensure that all information is correct before confirming your purchases and payment.

2.4 I have problems adding items to my shopping cart

You will be able to add the items as long as it is available. There could be an instance where the item is in someone else’s shopping cart hence the status of the items is reflected as “Temporarily Unavailable.”

2.5 How do I pay for my orders?

We accept and all major credit and debit cards such as Mastercard, VISA, and American Express. As well as, payments via Paypal.

2.6 Can I amend and cancel my order?

Unfortunately, we are unable to cancel an order once it has been placed. This will allow us to pack your orders efficiently and to minimize errors. It is advisable to check your order before placing it.

2.7 I have a discount code, how can I use it?

Key in the coupon code at the field “Coupon” “Voucher Code” or “Promo Code” and click “Add” to your Shopping Cart page before proceeding to check out. Please note that we are unable to manually apply the voucher code to your order if you have missed keying it during check out. Kindly ensure that all information is correct before confirming your purchase.

2.8 How will I know if my order is confirmed?

After you have placed your order, you will receive an acknowledgment e-mail from us confirming that your order has been received. However, do note that orders will only be shipped when your credit card payment has been approved, and billing and delivery address is verified. Alternatively, you may check the status of your order in “My Account” if you are a registered user.


3.1 When will my order be processed?

All orders will be processed within two working days, excluding weekends and public holidays. Time stated is based on EST (Eastern Standard Time).

3.2 How long will it take for me to receive my order?

The standard delivery time is approximately 3-5 working days, and the Express delivery is approximately 1-2 working days from the time of placing your order. This is applicable within the United States and its territories only. All international deliveries are dependent on logistics partners, their affiliates, and country of final destination customs procedures.

3.3 How can I track my delivery?

Once the order has been shipped, an email confirmation will be sent to you with the tracking number. You may check and track the delivery status of your orders, with your Order number.

3.4 What are the shipping charges like?

We offer FREE shipping within the USA and its territories. Priority Express mail is US$25 anywhere in the United States and its territories with a weight limitation or up to 3 sets or 6 pieces. For international deliveries, we offer a flat fee of US$40 with a weight limitation or up to 3 sets or 6 pieces. For orders over 3 sets or 6 pieces, please contact us at to calculate the delivery charges based on your given address. These charges will be based on weight and final destination.

3.5 Can I change my shipping address after my order has been confirmed?

Unfortunately, we are unable to redirect orders once your order is confirmed. Therefore, please ensure you provide the correct shipping address.

3.6 There is a missing item in my order, what should I do?

We apologize for sending you an incomplete order. Please contact us at, and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

3.7 I’ve received a defective item, what should I do?

We apologize if you have received a defective item from us. Please contact us with a snapshot of the product, and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

3.8 I’ve received an incorrect item, what should I do?

3.9 I have not received my parcel, what should I do?

Kindly drop us an email to if you have not received your parcel after 10 working days and we will assist you accordingly

3.10 Will there be an additional charge for redelivery?

Yes.There will be a redelivery handling fee of $8 in addition to whichever method of shipping you select.

3.11 I have yet to receive my parcel within the stipulated time frame. Whom can I contact?
